Article IV
In the first three articles, the Constitution set up the structure of the federal government: Article I set up the legislative branch, Article II set up the executive branch, and Article III set up the judicial branch. Now, with Article IV, the Constitution turns to the states. In the clauses contained within Article IV, the Constitution deals with a number of issues that govern how states are run, and how the federal government interacts with state power.
